Fund-raising Efforts
The Boettcher
Foundation awarded the museum stabilization effort a $20,000
grant. This means we will be able to begin the north wall project this
fall. Thanks Tim Schutlz and the Boettcher Foundation Board of Directors!
The Edmund T. and
Eleanor Quick Foundation awarded the museum a $10,000 grant for
the stabilization work.
CC&V Gold Mining Company granted the museum $10,000
toward the match. CC&V also assists with funding the summer staffing,
emergency building repairs and other fund-raising needs and activities.
City of Cripple Creek
grants our project $25,000!
The Cripple Creek District Museum and the City
of Cripple Creek has granted the Victor Improvement Association $25,000
from the historic preservation funds allotted for the Cripple Creek
museum's matching funds budget. This cooperative effort is greatly
appreciated!
Auction Benefited Museum March - $5000
Challenge Grant Met!
On Saturday, March 8 the Victor Elks Club
No. 367 sponsored a spaghetti dinner and live auction to benefit the
Victor Lowell Thomas Museum. Over $15,000 was raised to help the museum.

Watch us grow our matching funds...
The VIA recently was awarded a $208,177 grant
from the State Historical Fund and now needs to raise $70,000 in matching
funds to accept the grant.
The City of Cripple Creek and Cripple Creek
District Museum granted the museum $25,000 toward matching funds.
CC&V Mining Company granted the museum $10,000
toward the match. CC&V also assists with funding the summer staffing,
emergency building repairs and other fund-raising needs and activities.

The Victor Elks generously agreed to hold a
benefit dinner and auction March 8.
From that effort we raised over $15,000. The City of Cripple Creek and
Cripple Creek District Museum March 19 awarded our effort a $25,000 grant
from Cripple Creek Historic Preservation Funds.
